About me
Vice President of Development, Greg Wardeberg is responsible for managing the Headwaters team as it relates to the design, development, construction and sale of our projects. Additionally, he works directly with our owners to assist with property evaluations and acquisitions.
Mr. Wardeberg holds a Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering degree from Michigan State University. After working for a Civil Engineering consulting firm for 5 years, he followed his passion into vertical construction. He is a State Certified General Contractor in Florida and a licensed Residential Builder in the State of Michigan.
Over the years, Mr. Wardeberg has been responsible for the design, construction and sale of over 250 homes in Southwest Florida. These include homes at The Landings at Bears Paw, Audubon, Pelican Landing, The Colony, Renaissance and Sabal Lake.

- Transitioned from civil engineering consulting to vertical construction, bringing technical expertise to residential development projects.
- Led cross-functional teams through all phases of development from property evaluation and acquisition to final home sales.
- Maintained dual licensure as State Certified General Contractor in Florida and Residential Builder in Michigan, managing projects in multiple markets.
- Applied civil engineering background to optimize site development and infrastructure planning for residential communities.
